A summary
Busy Buttons Creative Wellbeing Camps for 5 - 10 year olds & 11 - 15 year olds have the children explore several topics with immersive learning opportunities while creating wonders and making new friends. They learn new skills in 3D Art and design, printing, sculpting, painting, recycling, sewing, illustration and more at the School of Skills while working in small groups, offering individual learning support, nurturing patience and confidence, in a safe environment for children to grow whilst nurturing lasting friendships and making beautiful memories. Yoga and exploring nature as part of the schedule help make the week a great combination of physical health and mental wellbeing.
About your mentor
Busy Buttons CORE charity
Creatively finding each child's unique potential
Busy Buttons CORE charity is a local volunteer led registered charity committed to inclusively helping children find their unique potential, irrespective of behaviour, age, ability, gender or race by offering a wide range of skill based creative programmes and community engagement events in Windsor. A big part of our activities involves working inclusively with children with special educational needs, behavioural issues, anxiety, and isolation, using creative arts to improve wellbeing with referrals from CAMHS, NHS, SENCOs and Adoption Services. We make the arts accessible to everyone as a means of improving health, enhancing wellbeing and realising potential through active participation. All low income families can access our programmes for free. We are Ofsted registered and a directly licensed Duke of Edinburgh Award and Arts Award centre. We also support young people unable to attend school due to anxiety or special needs (we call it ‘Superpowers’) at our Alternative Provision.

Creative, experiential and inclusive sessions in small groups offer maximum support and meet individual needs in a safe nurturing environment. We use the 3 Big E s. Experience with hands on learning Expression promoting individual learning Encouragement with team work.
