About your mentor
Youth Network MK
Dedicated to young people
Youth Network is a Bletchley Youth Centre project, dedicated to empowering young people to build a better future for themselves and their community. We offer leisure time youth clubs, activities and trips which build self-confidence, resilience and motivate them to try out new things.
The trip - 8th April
On the first day of the project, Monday 8th April, we will travel by coach to Howe Park Wood. The coach will pick us up at Newton Leys Pavilion, Furzey Way, Newton Leys, MK3 5SP at 9.30am and return us there at 3.15pm. Please complete the consent questions on the form and your food options. Young people will be accompanied by our professional & experienced team of youth leaders. Our nature day will include exploring the woods and taking part in bug hunting, shelter building, making natural water filters, crafts and pond dipping and generally immersing ourselves in nature with the support of the Parks Trust. We advise that the children wear old clothes that they don’t mind getting muddy and dirty and wear wellies or walking boots if possible.
