A summary
A holiday club Forest School session for children aged 11-16 years. Activities woodland skills, including bushcraft, team games and lunch. please note in the summer months we do not cook lunch over a fire. We offer hands on learning experiences in our woodlands or natural environments, of which play and choice are an important part. Lunch is cooked over a fire during the winter (weather permitting). This is a holiday club run in line with the Forest school ethos, offering: • Physical activities such as rope swings and bridges, den building, team games • Creative activities such as woodland crafts, land art and using tools • Experiences, such as exploring the woods, connecting with nature, fire lighting and cooking You will be emailed a few days prior to the day with details of the lunch. We will endeavour to provide food to accommodate the dietary requirements of the group, where this is not possible, we will contact you to discuss to ensure no child is left hungry! IMPORTANT BOOKING INFORMATION: All our sessions will be held entirely outside, so please ensure your child(ren) are dressed appropriately for the weather (hat scarf, suncream, waterproofs as appropriate to the season) and be aware that is can be a tad cooler in the woods than elsewhere.
