What we'll do
Join us at the Beacon centre for a fun filled summer celebration. This is four-day a week provision that runs over 4 weeks- Monday to Thursday. Food will be provided as well as exciting activities and interactive games! The themes we are focussing on this summer will be online safety, vaping awareness, healthy eating and mental wellbeing as during this time of year it is important for young people to look after their mental health. This programme gives young people the chance to feel rejuvenated after their intense year at school . Examples include the climbing wall, sports, cooking and arts and crafts, that have a therapeutic value and team building games that take young people away from negative thoughts and push them outside of their comfort zone. Confidence building and making friends along the way. Everyone will receive a nutritious hot meal, with a drink and dessert. All meals are Halal & a vegetarian or gluten free option will be available on request.
