This course is designed for complete beginners. All students are welcome, even those who believe they are 'too inflexible for yoga' - there is no such thing! The method is progressive and orderly. The teaching and the postures are adjusted to meet the conditions and needs of each student. The practice will develop strength, flexibility and endurance. Students gain confidence and learn precision in their yoga practise, which enables the body and physiological system to function at their best. Students learn through clear demonstrations and thorough guidance on alignment. The use of yoga equipment, such as ropes and chairs, are taught to deepen students understanding of the postures and to help them to achieve specific actions in the body and extension of the spine. All the basic standing and sitting postures are covered.

Nina has loved movement and meditation from a young age, and found they both complemented her studies in mathematics and philosophy at university and has been exploring them ever since. Nina's teaching is technical, in-depth and precise. Regular class attendance and practise will develop your agility, stamina, full-body awareness and deep relaxation. Nina specialises in teaching those students who at first believe they are 'too inflexible' for yoga (there is no such thing!) and yoga enthusiasts wanting to learn advanced yoga postures with healthy alignment.
