What we'll do
The Renewal Programme are delighted to welcome pre-school children to our Christmas Programme held at 395High St North, Manor Park, London E12 6PG. The participants will be able to enjoy party games, messy play, arts & crafts, mixed indoor sports, cupcake & cookie decorating, plant your own seeds and a movie day. Your children will be provided with a healthy free vegetarian hot lunch. The little ones will have the opportunity to play games and create their very own arts & crafts masterpieces. We look forward to hosting your little ones between 22nd December - 29th December 2023 at this exciting programme. Please Note: Any packed lunch that children bring must be of a healthy variety and no items containing NUTS. Non-attendance without prior notice will result in the child losing its place for other days.
About your mentor
The Renewal Programme
Inspiring hope and offering opportunities
Newham Renewal Programme Ltd, also known as The Renewal Programme, is a registered charity based in Newham. Working with the community, the local council and businesses and other local charities, we transform and empower individuals for a stronger borough. Founded in 1971 by Reverends Clifford Hill, Ted Finch and Rowland Joiner, their shared aim was to inspire marginalised people and communities to sustain themselves independently in the future, an aim which has remained at the heart of the charity ever since. For 50+ years, we have continued to support those, in Newham, who are facing multiple challenges; whether they’re a carer who needs wellbeing support, a migrant or refugee without access to public funds, an individual suffering with homelessness or experiencing poverty, a young person without direct access to learning pathways or an elderly person unable to communicate in English. With our support, they can access the services they need in order to overcome those challenges.
HAF clubs are inclusive for children with low levels of SEN and/or disability, who can participate in universal settings. We also have specialist programmes for those children and young people who require specialist support. Each Club will assess their suitability to provide sufficient support, based on your child/young person's needs, ona case-by-case basis. Email us for any queries on HAF@newham.gov.uk

About your Mentor
Rukshana Parvin My name is Rukshana Parvin, I was born and raised in Bangladesh and have lived in the UK for most of my adult life, with my husband and three children with an age range from six to sixteen. Since living here I have trained and qualified as a Level 3 Childcare Practitioner, and now, have over 12 years’ experience of working with children between the ages of 2 to 5 years old. My most rewarding experience of being a childcare practitioner is being able to work with a range of children helping them to develop and meet their individual milestones. I enjoy planning new learning opportunities for all the children in my care and especially providing a variety of teaching strategies and learning opportunities for individual children with SEN (Special Educational Needs and Disabilities).
