A summary
Fully Funded Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme We have a very new and exciting opportunity as part of this year’s HAF provision. Working with Suffolk County Council we have created a fully funded programme for any young people across Suffolk to achieve their Bronze Duke of Edinburgh award over the next 9 months. This is a fully funded programme – there is no cost to the participants! - Kit and equipment provided - Camping and expedition fees covered - Food for training and expeditions paid for - Funding for boots available - Weekends Away - Learn New Skills - Online support The programme is fully supported with friendly and knowledgeable staff with both face to face sessions and online support available. Young people will get to spend several days away from home, learning how to camp, cook, navigate and look after themselves on expeditions They will take part in volunteering opportunities, learn a new sport or physical activity, and start or develop a skill. To be eligible for a free space : • Participants must be aged 14 – 16 years old (or currently in YEAR 9) • Live in Suffolk or attend school in Suffolk • Be entitled to Free School Meals Please get in touch if you have any questions or would like any more information. ? dofe@acleisure.com ​?
