A summary
Inclusive Fitness has been awarded grant funding from Milton Keynes City Council to deliver sessions for the Holiday Activities and Food Programme, for children in receipt of benefit-related Free School Meals (FSM), during the Summer school holidays in 2024. During the Inclusive Fitness sessions for those with additional needs, the aim is to empower life skills and the understanding of how to live healthier and happier lives through a wide range of activities including the following; Active games - Football, Badminton, Tennis, bowling, Dodge ball -Boxing -Yoga -Weights -Circuit training -Sensory Circuits -Aerobics -Dance -Arts and crafts - discussing body parts and the functions of these -Painting/colouring - expressing our emotions through art and discussing these -Cooking/preparing healthy food - discussions around healthy and unhealthy foods -Meditation/mindfulness - trying different techniques of how to relax and discussing the importance of this -Quiet time - listening to music and stories

Inclusive Fitness’ objective is to support clients physical and Mental health as well as empowering life skills, supporting them to have the confidence to break down barriers to live healthier and happier lives. I want to empower my clients lives through health and fitness, as well as supporting them with individual life skills, which could be some of the following; independent skills, social and emotional skills, communication and language skills and emotional regulation, all of which, will have a positive impact on their holistic development. Each programme is created based on the client’s individual needs and goals and is adapted accordingly.
