What we'll do
The parent/carer must attend this trip and stay with the child/children at all times. One adult per family due to limited spaces and all attendees must book a space/ticket. This booking is for families that live in Woodhill, Shenley Church End, Shenley Wood, Oakhill, Medbourne, Loughton, Whitehouse, Loughton Lodge, Hazeley, Grange Farm, Crownhill. Children and Family Centres have been awarded grant funding from Milton Keynes City Council to deliver sessions for the Holiday Activities and Food Programme, for children in receipt of benefit-related Free School Meals (FSM), during the Winter school holidays in 2023/24. Seedlings Children’s Centre Land of the lights HAF trip. We want to take you on an adventure from Peter Pan to Gulliver’s travels, light up your imagination this winter with spectacular lantern displays. Follow the 1-mile trail and see incredible lights installations at every turn. There will be amazing photo opportunities and a hot meal provided to all children. A coach will be provided and will leave the centre at 3.30pm, once we arrive at the destination, we will be taken to the food hall were all the children will have the opportunity to sit down and have a hot meal. Once the children are finished, we will then head over to start the land of the lights trail which the takes around 90 mins. Once we have completed the trail the coach will then collect us at 6.45pm to return back to the children’s centre.
