Portia
Always ready for fun!
Hi there, I first joined The Young Creatives as student back in 2014 and have since grown up with the Theatre Company, massively increasing my confidence and skill set, and started working for them as a teacher about four years ago, assisting with a variety of classes and behind the scenes work! My love of theatre has now lead to me attending Drama School but I’m still incredibly involved with TYC, taking part in their great projects and leading exciting workshops. I want to share my passion for theatre and make people smile.
Gail Oakley
Drama Teacher and Theatre Maker
Hi I am a qualified teacher with more years experience than I care to remember! I have worked with people of all ages to create theatre and have fun. I have worked in all sorts of places including lots of theatres and schools. I enjoy using drama games and skills as a way to get to know people. Theatre doesn't always have to be about creating an end performance, sometimes its much more about all the things we might learn along the way. That being said, I do love the opportunity to share any work we have created!
Pippa Janes
Creative/ drama assistant
Hello, my name is Pippa,   I am looking forward to bringing my creativity to fun activities.  I love dancing, cheerleading and drama, so you can guarantee that I will be bringing some lively and active elements to everything we do!   I have been working with The Young Creatives for 3 years and have been in a variety of different plays and musical theatre, as well as street performance and charity events.
Shelby Spreadbury
Crafty, kooky and easily amused!
I love music and crafting, am bubbly, easy to talk to and sometimes funny! I work at my daughters school and that has ignited a passion for working with children and those with behavioural differences. I truly believe that a persons mental health and attitude is more important than their results and enjoy seeing people of all ages enjoy life and achieve goals.
Abbie Rist

I started TYC as a member i would do all the activities then i became a volunteer and I now work for them! I love to sing and act and help around doing anything i can. I really enjoy drama as i believe it brings people together.
