What we'll do
The children will be involved in many physical activities during the day with us. We will teach them the basic non contact Kickboxing techniques and have the opportunity to use our punch bags.We also play many physical games such as football, basket ball, badminton, dodgeball and circuits to name a few. Children have the opportunity to cook, do arts and crafts , and to finish the day we play Laser Tag. The children form friendships, build confidence and learn to work together as a team with the games and activities we provide. *** This activity has been funded through the Department for Education’s (DfE) Holiday Activity and Food (HAF) programme and coordinated by East Sussex County Council. Free places are available for young people eligible for benefits-related free school meals. This eligibility criteria has been defined by the DfE. Additionally young people in several other target cohorts can attend funded places, such as those with SEND or Looked After Children (LAC). Please note, eligibility will be confirmed as part of the booking process.***

Owner and Chief Instructor Carl Denne has been teaching kickboxing for over 20 years and running HKA since 1998. At Hastings Kickboxing Academy (HKA), we have put together many different programs for young children, cadets, teenagers, and adults to help with their development, overall fitness, and confidence. All while increasing their strength, performance and building self-esteem. We are a family run gym that offers a full range of classes to suit all ages and abilities, no matter what your reason for training. We focus on the physical and mental wellbeing of all our members and aim to deliver the best classes possible, whether you just training for fun or want to become a champion, don’t worry we have got you. HKA is proud to have one of the best fully equipped Dojos in the country. A professionally run kickboxing academy, including 14 work stations, 8 punch bags, 3 wall pads, a 16ft competition ring, 2 swing bars with speedball, 6m climbing ladder, Olympic rings, multiple RDX stations, 10 medicine ball stations, on-line media center, wall bars, focus pads, 4 meter peg wall. Everything you need to give you the best training experience possible at HKA. Join the Kickboxing experts! We run free family kickboxing sessions on the first Saturday of every month, we also regularly hold other events throughout the year such as Nerf and Laser Wars, Disco's and Movie Nights
