Zenoch Community Hub
Caring For The Community
Our aim at Zenoch community hub is to ensure that all children and young people have the same equal opportunity and enjoy the same benefit of healthy food within the borough in a fun, safe, secured and stimulating environment with different indoor and outdoor activities. We believe all children and young people should have the right to a healthy food and no child should go to bed without any food in their stomach. We offer hots meals and grab and go snacks outside school term time. Zenoch Community Hub is passionate about supporting children and young people and their families in our community with different challenges and gang culture and keep the community in need fed. We also support vulnerable people with food and financial insecurity from families with low income, single and homeless, elderly and frail, families with children, single parents, Refugee, disabled, people with health issues, and people with no recourse to public fund; being deprived of healthy foods, healthy lifestyle, mostly hang out with wrong people, and faced with obesity with long time effect on their health due to the economic deprivation area. We run a Holiday play scheme for young people aged 4-16 years old in our local community for children in deprived area and low-income families. We supply the groups and other community organisation with hygiene and toiletry items from our hygiene bank to keep them healthy.
