A summary
Woodland adventures at Pomphrey Hill, near Emersons Green. 10am - 2pm with a healthy campfire lunch for all and lots of active outdoor fun! There will be the opportunity to make Christmas crafts using natural materials. To attend your child must be: * aged 8+ * eligible for benefits-related free school meals (not universal free school meals) * living in South Gloucestershire (you will have a South Glos Council Tax bill) * able to toilet independently (we do not provide personal care) **PLEASE READ ALL THE INFO BELOW** There is a video here that shows the site and some of the activities we have on offer. This is often helpful for children who may feel anxious about trying new things or those who need to know what to expect. If you child needs to know which adults will be at their session please email us and we will let you know. https://youtu.be/CP29XLFQRR4 Children with additional needs are very welcome to attend if they meet the eligibility criteria above. If your child has not been to Mud Pies before and you want to talk about your child's needs please call 07538 547 151. Your child will need to bring a water bottle- we will take water to provide refills. Also please send a snack (nut free). Children need to wear long trousers, even when it is hot, due to the risk of ticks in the woods and to be able to cook on the fire. We will meet you outside the play area. Please save this number to your phone so you can contact us: 07538 547 151. If you are going to be late or need to cancel please let us know as soon as you can. Once your booking has been approved will send you an invite via Class4Kids to confirm your space. Please look out for this in your email inbox and check spam if necessary.

We have been taking children out for adventures in the woods since 2011! While we are not an exclusively SEND provision we are experienced specialists in supporting children with additional needs. We have a well regarded inclusive, holistic, child-centered approach. During the summer Emer, Jess, Milly Nickie and Zak will be running our HAF sessions.
