A summary
Our new Women: Wellbeing and Workout course is a FREE 8 week course for women, aged 18 – 30. If you live in Hastings and St Leonards and want to learn long-term coping strategies to help manage your mental wellbeing (including: anxiety, low mood, stress or poor self-esteem), with a combination of talking and physical activities book your free place today. The friendly, non-judgemental sessions kick off with a 45 minute talking group session led by Natalie Greenall from Believe in You, followed by a 45 minute exercise class with a Personal Trainer. Active Hastings
Physical activity sessions for everyone!
Active Hastings is an externally funded partnership project between Hastings Borough Council and East Sussex County Council Public Health. We have been working in partnership since 2006 to give local residents easy, fun ways to get their everyday dose of physical activity. It only takes 150 minutes of moderate intensity physical activity each week for adults and 60 minutes every day for children to benefit your health, both mental and physical. You can even break it down into 10 minute slots! All of our team are experienced sports coaches, fitness instructors and play workers, who are passionate about working with people of all ages in Hastings and St Leonards. We run free or low cost sessions throughout the year, as well as holiday activities as part of the Holiday Activity and Food programme.

I've worked in Mental Health for the past 18 years, offering an array of alternative, positively focused Mental Health provisions in both schools and the community. I also have lots of lived experience of finding ways though when life becomes tough, and offer an open and supportive approach to make service users feel comfortable and safe in sessions.

I have previously worked as a primary school teacher and have a degree in psychology. I tried to use both these skill sets to support my work as a fitness coach, personal trainer and exercise referral instructor.
