Exploring Strong Structures: Learn about structural engineering through exploring the growth of tall buildings and their structures. Create and design your own towers and then test them to destruction. Rockets and Parachutes: Design and launch a rocket to see how far it will travel. The Bloodhound Car uses a parachute as one of its mechanisms to slow down safely. You will explore the science of air resistance through making and testing different types of parachutes and see the factors that affect drag. Air Powered Rockets Workshop - Learn about the jet engine and rocket technology in the Bloodhound 1,000mph Car. Design and build your own rocket car and race it to see the results.

Bloodhound Education Ltd
Inspiring a generation to study STEAM
Bloodhound Education is a charity which delivers hands-on science and engineering activities for schools, uniformed groups, after school and holiday clubs, and the local community. Our charity has 13-years experience delivering practical enrichment workshops engaging families of all ages including under-represented groups and those with complex health or special educational needs. Our workshops enrich the curriculum and make the link between classroom and careers using real engineering projects like Bloodhound Land Speed Record as an educational tool and to explore future sustainable engineering solutions and renewable technology.
