A summary
Outdoor rounders for all genders. No experience necessary. The Downs Bexhill, Wednesdays 19:00 - 20:00. Not played since school? No problem. We range in age from 18 to 60+ and we don't take rounders too seriously, it's a good laugh and a bit of sunshine. You can join our Facebook group/page Hastings Rounders to see photos and updates from our games. We have all the kit, so just sign up and turn up. We suggest you wear long trousers and long sleeves but it's up to you, you can use our kneepads if you're a diver. Bring water. Get a bit fitter and learn more about rounders and women in our community. Every 3rd Weds of the month is mixed rounders (men can play). Bexhill Council charge us for use of the park so we charge. Want to play but can't pay? Just come along, we would rather you played. Whether you pay or not is private between you and this platform. We need you to be insured if you play with us more than 3 times, we ask you for a £5 contribution towards that. We take photos and video at our games and share on social - if you don't want to be included let us know. You can always take the squad photo for us! Hope to see you on the field soon!

Current Chair of Hastings Rounders: Amy Walker Passionate about bringing people from Hastings together to have a laugh and enjoy a team sport that is more about camaraderie than competition. Active Hastings
Sport and play sessions for everyone!
Active Hastings is a partnership project between Hastings Borough Council and East Sussex County Council Public Health. We have been working in partnership since 2006 to give local residents easy, fun ways to get their everyday dose of physical activity. It only takes 30 minutes a day for adults and 60 a day for children to get fitter, healthier and happier. You can even break it down into 10 minute slots! All of our team are experienced sports coaches and play workers, who are passionate about working with people of all ages in Hastings and St Leonards. We run free or low cost sessions throughout the year, as well as holiday activities as part of the Holiday Activity and Food programme.

Insurance
Bexhill Council requires that all players are covered by team insurance. Under our insurance you can play up to 3 times and be covered automatically. After that we need some info from you, and a £5 donation which is subsidised by a grant from the Together Fund / Active Sussex.
