A summary

The Multi-Activity programme fits into 3 main areas and timetabling allows students to experience at least one activity from each these per day: ·EXTREME (Gladiator Joust, Archery, Sumo Suits, Zorb Football, our Giant Bouncy Castle) offer risk taking and character development and a better understanding of how to keep safe. SPORTS (Football, Dodgeball, Basketball, Badminton, Tennis, Rugby and Rounders) improve and enhance skill development and resilience among learners. ARTS AND CRAFT (clay modelling, paper mache frames, painting and drawing) sessions are carefully thought out to make sure they’re age appropriate for each group at camp.

I absolutely love working with children, I have previously worked as a covid tester in schools and as a leader of a summer school. All this further aided in making me want to help children have an amazing time!

Maddy Ratford·Friendly, compassionate and kind

My name is Maddy Ratford and I am currently studying Geography at the University of East Anglia in Norwich. I have completely my GCSE’s and A-Levels and enjoyed doing activities outside of school including Bronze DofE and volunteering. I have a passion for climbing and have continued this in university by joining the climbing society. I enjoy being active and regularly go to the gym. I previously volunteered at my local Beaver Scouts as a young leader and APF had given me the opportunity to have more responsibility as the manager role. I love being there for the kids and providing a fun experience for them during their school holidays.

Hi, I’m Gabriela. I’m a dancer, currently studying professional dance at Wilkes academy in Swindon. I regularly teach all styles of dance, including ballet and jazz to all age children from beginners to more advanced dancers. I worked for APF previously and I had the best time; I can't wait to show children some wonderful dance moves and get involved in all the Arts & Crafts and sports that we have on offer. I love being around children and sharing my passion with them. At APF we always make sure to have as much fun as possible and learn new enjoyable skills!

We offer children a once in a lifetime experience and operate day camps, as well as a placement service to refer parents to the right camp to meet each child’s needs. FREE camps are also available and staffed with counselors who specialise in the special needs of newly arrived refugee families and our most vulnerable children.

Spend your day being physically active – As children spend so much time these days inside and mostly sitting down, camp provides a wonderful opportunity to move. Running…..jumping…….climbing all help you to be more healthy.
