A summary
Stop motion animation, feel good food & outdoor fun IMPORTANT!! We have additional SEND Support on 22nd - 26th July, and 31st July - 1st Aug, so please make sure to book those dates if your child has additional learning requirements. Ever wanted to make your own animation? You have come to the right place! Our workshops teach children how to make short animations, including operating cameras, using animation software and computers and recording sounds. At the end of each day we have a screening premiere with parents and siblings. Children are sent their films to keep and share. In addition to animation, Lucie from Feel Good Food will provide 20 mins of fun nutritional education for children. We’ll focus on eating the rainbow, introducing colours and the many ways they benefit our bodies. Food activities - making freshly pressed juices/shakes/mocktails using seasonal fruit and veg combinations. After lunch we head out for some games and a play in the park! Lucie from Feel Good Food will provide a nutritious and delicious hot yummy lunch each day. Allergies and intolerances and special diets can be catered for on request (vegetarian/ gluten/ dairy free options provided). ***This activity has been funded through the Department for Education’s (DfE) Holiday Activity and Food (HAF) programme and coordinated by East Sussex County Council. Free places are available for young people eligible for benefits-related free school meals. This eligibility criteria has been defined by the DfE. Additionally young people in several other target cohorts can attend funded places, such as those with SEND or Looked After Children (LAC). Please note, eligibility will be confirmed as part of the booking process.***
