A summary

Our morning sessions are open to all children entitled to the HAF programme and our afternoon sessions are specific to children with Specific Educational NEEDS (SEND). The Multi-Activity programme fits into 3 main areas and timetabling allows students to experience at least one activity from each these per day: ·EXTREME (Gladiator Joust, Archery, Sumo Suits, Zorb Football, our Giant Bouncy Castle) offer risk taking and character development and a better understanding of how to keep safe. SPORTS (Football, Dodgeball, Basketball, Badminton, Tennis, Rugby and Rounders) improve and enhance skill development and resilience among learners. ARTS AND CRAFT (clay modelling, paper mache frames, painting and drawing) sessions are carefully thought out to make sure they’re age appropriate for each group at camp.

Emily Dickson·Bring on the fun!
Hi there! My involvement in sport is through rugby - I play for The University of Gloucestershire and for Bletchley RUFC. I love being involved in a supportive team and strongly believe everyone should be given the opportunity to do a sport they enjoy. I have a background in SEN support services so will always ensure that everyone is included in activities. I worked at APF Camps previously and loved every minute of it! It’s so important for children to be able to have a space to try new things and be themselves and that’s what we’ll always provide for them. Bring on the fun!
Gabi Syrek·Here for all the fun :)
Hi, I’m Gabriela. I’m a dancer, currently studying professional dance at Wilkes academy in Swindon. I regularly teach all styles of dance, including ballet and jazz to all age children from beginners to more advanced dancers. I worked for APF previously and I had the best time; I can't wait to show children some wonderful dance moves and get involved in all the Arts & Crafts and sports that we have on offer. I love being around children and sharing my passion with them. At APF we always make sure to have as much fun as possible and learn new enjoyable skills!
Maddy Ratford·Let the fun begin!
My name is Maddy and I am currently studying for a degree in Geography at the University of East Anglia in Norwich. It is a great pleasure to work for APF again this year and i'm sure everyone will have sooooo much fun! I have always enjoyed doing activities outside of school, including Bronze DofE. In fact, my passion for climbing has continued at University where I have joined their climbing society. I also enjoy being active and regularly go to the gym and cannot wait to share my passion with the children at APF camps. I previously gained plenty of experience working with children and cannot wait to manage at APF again. I love being there for the kids and providing a fun experience for them during their school holidays.
APF ACTIVITY CAMPS ·MAKING MEMORIES THAT LAST A LIFETIME
Directed by a current Headteacher, we offer children a once in a lifetime experience and operate day camps, as well as a placement service to refer parents to the right camp to meet each child’s needs. FREE camps are also available and staffed with counselors who specialise in the special needs of newly arrived refugee families and our most vulnerable children. Camp Experience Staff give individualised attention to each camper, and are devoted to providing the greatest holiday experience possible. The result is A FUN-PACKED CAMP consisting of running, jumping, singing and making friends. In addition to the traditional dose of SPORTS, EXTREME ACTIVITIES and ARTS & CRAFTS, children leave with strengthened identity, an enhanced ability to befriend others, and a sense of purpose in today’s world.

Learning aims

Spend your day being physically active – As children spend so much time these days inside and mostly sitting down, camp provides a wonderful opportunity to move. Running…..jumping…….climbing all help you to be more healthy.
