Outlaws: summer camp for kids 10-14
4 days living wild and free in the woods
For ages: 10 - 14 years
A summary
Outlaws is an action-packed summer camp for children in the Year 6 - 9 age group (turning 11 to 14) who want to awaken their inner Robin Hood. The 4 days of woodland living will blend archery, bushcraft, nature awareness, fooling around and hanging out in the glorious Sussex woodland. Outlaw living is wild and free, and pretty unruly, and we'll be trying to get as close to that atmosphere as possible. So there won't be a set programme, just lots of options and the band of outlaws' choice as what to do and when. Outlaws don't go to school, they do pretty much as they please. In the woods. Activities will include: Archery: obviously, and probably lots of it - there is no end to the number of crazy archery games that can be played without incurring any casualties Primitive skills: knife craft, firecraft (including fire by friction for any ambitious outlaws who want to take up the tough but rewarding challenge), shelter building, foraging Games: day games, night games, stick fighting...
