A summary

Join me for these introductory sessions which provide a taste of what I offer. This is a unique opportunity to have your say in how I can shape a service in the future. These sessions offer you the opportunity to explore new ways to connect with nature, to support your wellbeing and build a sense of community. We will do some sensory circuits in a woodland setting using natural materials. The vibe will be welcoming and playful. There will be opportunities to create your own personalised activities depending on your individual interests and preferred level of challenge. We will light a campfire and spend time around the campfire sharing experiences and having a hot drink. Please remember to bring your own cup! We will be outside for all sessions and moving around on uneven ground. The wonderful venue of Mayfield Animal Park is quite exposed so you will need plenty of warm clothing. In-between the Trees·Forest school & neurodiversity specialist
Emily is an experienced teacher and forest school practitioner. For the past 7 years she has been a Specialist Leader for Education in Forest School, Nature Connection, Autism and Complex SEND Emily works part time at Bents Green Special School, a Forest School Association recognised provider and offers training, consultation and "in-house" delivery of bespoke projects on a freelance basis with In-between the Trees. She is a Create Sheffield partner and has collaborated with them to offer a "Sheffield Adventure" involving sensory circuits in nature. Emily is passionate about bringing the benefits of being outside and connecting with nature for everyone. Her sessions are inclusive and accessible to all.
