What we'll do
You are never to old to walk through the trees and enjoy dappled sunlight on your face or listen to the call of birds of prey as they swoop through the forest. Evergreen Elders is for people living with dementia (early to mid stages) people who have retired and for anyone over the age of 55 who has a passion for enjoying the great outdoors. Carers are welcome too. When you arrive on-site, we will walk down to base camp, listen to a safety briefing and enjoy a hot drink around the fire. There will be a range of different activities on offer each week, including, willow weaving, natural crafts , cooking, singing songs and enjoying the natural environment.
What you'll need
Clothing: long sleeved warm tops - lots of layers is preferable Long trousers - jeans, cords Waterproof jackets and over trousers. Hat, gloves Footwear - spare shoes to go home in in case it is muddy walking boots, wellingtons or sturdy shoes water bottle, outdoor hot drinks cup sun cream, insect repellent, tick repellent
