What we'll do

Priority for Sidley families: On arrival at 2pm your children will be welcomed by the Sidley Cricket Club team. We start with having a snack and drink together while we talk about the afternoon plans. We will take regular drink breaks and then share dinner together at 5:15pm. You will collect your tired and happy child at 6 pm. All Stars Cricket provides a fantastic first experience for all children aged 5-8 years old where they’re guaranteed 8 weeks of jam-packed fun, activity and skills development. The programme is designed to introduce children to the sport, teaching them new skills, helping them make new friends and have a great time doing so. Every child that registers will receive a backpack full of goodies. Your child’s pack will include: Backpack Cricket bat Cricket ball Personalised t-shirt with your child’s name All children returning to All Stars will receive a kit bag, a set of stumps, a new ball and a personalised t-shirt. Sidley Cricket Club·Cricket skills and fun for everyone!
Sidley Cricket have been in the community for over 100 years. We offer FREE cricket sessions to children and young people from KS2 (7/8 years). We have 2 adult sides who regularly play in the county league. We work closely with Heart of Sidley to offer more opportunities to local families. We've recently secured our own grounds at St Mary's Recreation Ground, which we're currently developing alongside using the space.

We work closely with local residents and businesses to deliver local priorities and projects to benefit the local community. Whether that be through partnership working with other organisations, or providing support and funds through the community grant scheme. We support local organisations and volunteers to provide all year-round activities to old and young alike. We also host several FREE and fun activities and events throughout the year, including our summer fun day and Christmas Extravaganza.
