A summary
Join the Active Hastings Street Bites team for an active day of fun! Meet up with old friends and make some new ones, as you try your hand at a wide range of sports and activities. Take part in sports such as football, archery, basketball, tennis, dodgeball, unihoc and more, or get crafty with our fantastic play team. Please be aware that there are no toilets on site, so we advise you to book the sessions that are close to your home. This year we will be visiting Quantock Gardens, Farley Bank, Downs Farm and Hollington Bowl. We'll end the summer with an exciting football tournament at Horntye Park on the 25th August. Free tickets, including lunch, snacks and drinks are available for all young people who are eligible for income-related free school meals. When booking please use the HAF ticket option from the drop-down list. These tickets are available now. If your child is not eligible for free school meals but you would like to join in, when booking please select the Non-HAF ticket option in the drop-down list. Tickets cost £3.50 and includes lunch, snacks and drinks. These tickets will go on sale from the 16th June. For more information email activehastings@hastings.gov.uk or call 01424 451051. ***Free places on this activity have been funded through the Department for Education’s (DfE) Holiday Activity and Food (HAF) programme and coordinated by East Sussex County Council. Free places are available for young people eligible for benefits-related free school meals. This eligibility criteria has been defined by the DfE. Additionally young people in several other target cohorts can attend funded places, such as those with SEND or Looked After Children (LAC). About your mentors
Active Hastings
Sport and play sessions for everyone!
Active Hastings is a partnership project between Hastings Borough Council and East Sussex County Council Public Health. We have been working in partnership since 2006 to give local residents easy, fun ways to get their everyday dose of physical activity. It only takes 30 minutes a day for adults and 60 a day for children to get fitter, healthier and happier. You can even break it down into 10 minute slots! All of our team are experienced sports coaches and play workers, who are passionate about working with young people in Hastings. We run free weekly sessions after school throughout the year, as well as holiday activities as part of the HAF programme.

Cancellation Policy
Free bookings do not require refunds but as places are limited, please cancel if you cannot attend so that your place can be offered to someone else.

My experience consists of a leisure activity, on a specific date(s), and therefore the 14-day ‘cooling off period’ under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 does not apply.
