Facilitating the journey of coming home
What inspires me
Nature is a wonderful healer - when you know how to access it fully - and the benefits of spending time outdoors are well documented. As many outdoor facilitators know, nature connectedness is in fact a basic psychological need. If you’re feeling disconnected from society, from friends and from yourself - as so many are after the last two years - Eco-therapy gives you the tools to forge a deep emotional and more meaningful connection to nature. Importantly, it can give you a more profound sense of belonging on this earth. Connect more deeply with nature and come away feeling revitalised & supported. Remember, you are not just 'part of' nature: you ARE nature.

Catherine has also trained under environmental art therapy pioneer Ian Siddons Heginworth, and completed Forest School and Bushcraft training. What we'll do
In this workshop I will help you rediscover the joy of nature and guide you into feeling more connected to this amazing planet, as we celebrate moving from spring into summer. You'll come away feeling revitalised and supported, and knowing a little more about yourself and your place in the world. I will be using nature-based mindful practices and environmental art therapy modalities. Being playful and creative outdoors allows us to rediscover our childhood wonder, reconnect with our natural, whole self, and feel more a part of the world we inhabit. Having a deep, embodied connection with nature increases wellbeing, boosts the immune system, reduces stress and improves mood and sleep. Rewilding is a journey of discovery that can help us expand our awareness into the feeling of being alive in this body, on this planet; a journey of coming home to ourselves. When we learn how to reconnect deeply with our environment, with this living planet, we find reverence and respect for Earth, and...
