Would you like do something outside with your child / children in the holidays? Join us for a walk and exploration either on Ashdown Forest or at Chelwood Gate woods. We will begin the session with a morning verse and seasonal ring time. Sharing beautiful songs with movement and actions. We will head off on a good stomp on the forest or in the woods. We will visit stream, climb trees, and build dens. We may find Indy Wincy spider up the tree, find a tree beach suitable to be our steam train or horsey! The children and adults enjoy stopping at anything special or beautiful Mother Earth is showing us. Where possible, I share my knowledge of the natural world and Waldorf education. We will stop to have snacks and see who’s in my beloved pocket apron, which the children love. I will bring a craft activity to engage with; often making something for you to take home. They’ll be time for more creative, child lead play. We will finish with seasonal story or puppet show.

Please dress appropriately for the outdoors and wear wellies for paddling or crossing the stream. Please bring your own snack & water bottle.
