Wellbeing in Nature (WIN) uses deep nature connection principles and practices - including mindfulness, bushcraft, earth care and horticulture, creativity and wild play - to build peoples’ wellbeing, resilience, sense of identity and community connection. Participants also work with a health coach (from our partners at Vitality Works) to learn practical techniques that help improve confidence, resilience, intuition and self-esteem. WIN has evolved from a successful pilot project in 2020, which aimed to tackle loneliness and isolation among young adults during the first lockdown. It was so successful that we decided to widen its remit and transform it into a long-term programme for adults of all ages.
