Our curriculum
Newham Community Project proudly presents our Winter HAF Youth Spark Programme, tailored to support young people (ages 11-16) over the winter break across three distinct groups. This programme offers a structured, inclusive environment where children engage in physical and creative activities designed to enhance social skills, build confidence, and foster personal growth. Through Winter Youth Spark, young people will benefit from resources and guidance that promote their educational, emotional, nutritional and social development, creating a foundation for lasting positive impact in their lives and the community.

About your mentor
Newham Community Project
Supporting underprivileged families with NRPF
Newham Community Project, founded in 2008 by a dedicated group of Newham residents, emerged as a response to the growing disparities in education and social welfare related to protected characteristics within the London Borough of Newham and surrounding areas. Throughout the years, Newham Community Project has remained steadfast, stepping in during times of crisis. In the wake of the unprecedented pandemic and the subsequent economic challenges, the organisation has observed a surge in difficulties the community faces. This has disproportionately affected BAME individuals, disadvantaged populations, the underprivileged, and those with no recourse to public funds.

My experience consists of a leisure activity, on a specific date(s), and therefore the 14-day ‘cooling off period’ under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 does not apply.
