A Fun-Filled Day at Oxford Quins Winter HAF Program
A typical day at the Oxford Quins Winter HAF program begins at 8:30 AM when children arrive at the activity hub, ready for a day of excitement. After a warm welcome, they enjoy a delicious breakfast to fuel them up for the busy day ahead. Then, the first activity begins with a multisport session, where kids engage in fun games like dodgeball, relay races, and other team-based activities to get active and build teamwork. Around 10:30 AM, there’s a short break with healthy snacks to keep everyone energized. Afterward, they dive into arts and crafts, where they can express their creativity by painting, sculpting, or making other fun projects. At 12:30 PM, it’s time for a nutritious lunch, giving everyone a chance to refuel. In the afternoon, kids enjoy more multisport games or take part in team-building challenges. A highlight of the day is the nature trail around the beautiful Shotover Woodlands. Here, children can explore the surrounding countryside, discovering wildlife and enjoying the fresh air on a guided walk through the woods. After the nature trail, there’s another snack break to keep spirits high before quieter activities like board games or a group storytelling session. At 4:30 PM, the children gather for tea and relax after an action-packed day. By 5:00 PM, the day comes to an end, and kids head home, having had a fun, creative, and active day in both indoor and outdoor settings. The program offers a perfect balance of activities, nature, and good food, ensuring a memorable experience for all involved.
