What we'll do
People joining our comic forest extravaganza will be welcomed into our warm meeting place by friendly Practitioners. When everyone has arrived we will get ready to go for a playful, adventurous walk in nature. Our walk will take us on foot to a local natural area and whilst visiting the place Practitioners will encourage the group to play and explore in fun and engaging ways. We will return to our warm meeting place and have a lot of fun working with a cartoon illustrator to turn our adventure into a comic.

About your mentors
Greenwood Growth CIC
Immerse, discover, connect in nature.
We work in community woodland offering compassionate support to people focused on connection to self, others and a belonging to the natural world. Over half the population lives within six miles of a forest or small woodland and we think most people don’t visit them at all, or just pass through. Greenwood Growth makes your local space fun, safe and inviting places to spend time. We want to get you amongst the trees to begin exploring and to feel the positive effect on health and well-being for yourself.
Ros
Forest school practitioner
I've been working with Greenwood for the past few years in various forest settings, gaining my qualifications, and leading groups of young people to get the most out of the great outdoors!
