What we'll do

Steve is bringing his Brick Bus to our weekly meetup. He will be holding two sessions: 12:00 - 12:40 8-11 years 1:20 - 14:00 5-8 years. The maximum we can have on the bus at a time is 10 children so book now to avoid disappointment! Our usual meetup will be running inside the Pavillion, with the theme of China that week. Your family are welcome to attend the meetup and come and meet other home educators while your child is inside the bus. For more information about RCLH please visit our website rclh.org.uk. We host weekly meetups and are National Lottery funded by Awards for All. All our group meetups we ask for a £4 donation per session, or more if you would like to contribute more to our cause. Our attending parents work together to help out in any way they can – roles such as keyholding, cleaning up, or bringing and planning resources. Steve will park outside on the tarmac behind the Pavillion and run two sessions. Toilets are available in the building but no toilet on the ...

RCLH's aim is to provide a safe space for a cohesive, supportive, and caring community of home educators to form in this area. What is RCLH? RCLH is the shortened name for our not-for-profit organisation ‘Reigate and Redhill Community Learning Hub Community Interest Company‘. We are a group of home educating parents who have joined forces to host educational, sociable and fun learning opportunities for our children. In time we hope to develop into a social enterprise made up of home educating families in and around Surrey and provide services, help, assistance, and a large building to form an actual hub. Our ethos REGULARITY As friendships are so important, attending regular sessions helps them to form, so we encourage regular attendance. By seeing and contacting the same home educators each week, both parents and children are able to build themselves a social network, which is essential for both wellbeing and development. COMMUNITY Our sessions encourage a sense of community by having parents bring resources and plan together how to provide learning offerings that are interesting and engaging for their children. Everyone feels happy and fulfilled when they are held by a community. LIFE-LONG LEARNING Learning is life-long and by sharing our skills we can all learn from each other. Providing an environment where people can learn naturally equals curious minds, alert conscious thought, free-flowing creativity and ideas = a nice place to be. HAPPY, SAFE AND AFFORDABLE No matter what approach you decide to take with home education, you can feel safe that you will not be judged. We will enforce our Terms and Conditions to keep the space feeling safe and inclusive. We want everyone to feel happy and loved.

My experience consists of a leisure activity, on a specific date(s), and therefore the 14-day ‘cooling off period’ under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 does not apply.

I am not able to offer refunds in general but may be able to if there is good notice.
