Lampshade Making Workshop Make your own beautiful lampshades! This contemporary drum style lampshade is easy to make , bring your own choice of fabric and we'll provide the kit and the know-how. What You will Need Please tell us in advance whether you want 20cm or 30cm diameter - just reply to your e-booking confirmation or email firstname.lastname@example.org Fabric: For the 30cm diameter shade (which is 21cm high): Bring a piece of fabric at least 1m wide x 30 cm high (Precisely fabric needs to be 97cm wide x 25.5cm high to cover the self adhesive panel supplied but we want to be on the safe side!) For a 20cm diameter shade (which is 18cm high): Bring a piece of fabric at least 65cm wide x 25 cm high. (Precisely your covering needs to be 64.5cm wide x 22cm high to cover the self adhesive panel supplied but we want to be on the safe side!) Fabric Type: Could be old curtain fabric or new fabric. What we'll do
- Make a rolled edge drum lampshade in your own choice of fabric to be used as a ceiling pendant or table lamp shade. It is a simple method of applying fabric to a self-adhesive flame retardant lining. No glue required. - Choose from 20 or 30cm diameter shade*. Please tell us whether you want 20cm or 30cm diameter by replying to your e-booking confirmation. *Spare kits can be made available to buy on the day - let us know whether you'd like 20 or 30cm extra kits and how many when you reply to point 2 above.

The very nature of sewing means you need space and each person will have their own table (measuring at least 1m by 60cm). If you would like a greater degree of distancing from other students than the default, please speak to your teacher on arrival and we can seat you somewhere with more space or a desk screen.
