What we'll do
As a special one-off session on Sept 15th 2021 we are hiring out Jason Buck, a professional storyteller, to inspire and engage our children in stories! Here's a rough guide of the programme for the session: 11-12: Teepee construction outside, making drums and shakers. Jason due to arrive at 11.30 for chats. 12: Storytelling performance. Please arrive by 12 to be there for his performance! 12.30-1.30pm: Interactive drama with animals and cave painting on a large roll of paper. Facilitated by Jason. 1.30-2pm: Wind down, clear up, outdoor play

About your Mentor
Jason is an experienced storyteller, working in schools and at bespoke events. Please see his listing on the Society for Storytellers for more info: https://www.sfs.org.uk/storyteller/591/profile Emily will be there with her kids to enjoy the experience and bring resources along. Laura will be there to help out with younger children during the performance and run the craft activities. Laura is experienced at running playgroups. She is kind, patient and observant to young children's needs. As with all our sessions, children must be accompanied by an adult. It is a family session and all the family is welcome for this one price. If you can bring an activity to run with the kids please do! The more on offer the better.
Premises and facilities
There is a small cabin, large cricket ground, small copse, and a village playground on site. Toilets and disabled access. Kitchen and microwave for heating up food and washing up any picnic lunch you bring.
