About your Mentor
Daphne and Funmi have set up a homeschool group for their children in a beautiful woodland workshop on the Ashdown Forest. Their driving force for education is to create a nourishing environment for children to learn age appropriate skills which is development led and considers the child as a whole. Funmi is a qualified art teacher and has founded a Waldorf inspired craft and toy company. She has a 14 year old boy and 7 year old girl who have both been Steiner educated. She has traveled the world and is inspired by different cultures which influences her daily life. Daphne was Steiner educated from age 4-19 both in The Netherlands and England. She now has 2 children age 7 and 5 who have both been Steiner and Montessori educated. She is a paediatric osteopath and therefore has a good understanding of child development and holistic wellbeing. She founded a yoga studio in the heart of Forest Row and is a big part of the community. Martin Schmandt will lead the group following a Waldor...
