What we'll do
Come for a fun, two-night sleepover in August at our fully equipped Short Break Unit in Lowestoft. The break is organised and facilitated by trained support workers and we are now in our fourth year of providing these fantastic breaks! We'll be having a Treasure Hunt, a fun 'Sports Day' at the park, and a movie night! We'll also be making Pizza and getting a take away! Our events are geared towards supporting young people to enjoy fun activities with their peers, to offer skill-building opportunities and to build confidence. Please make a booking request if you are interested in attending, as we will need to speak to you and understand your needs before we can confirm the booking. Contact us by emailing info@leadinglives.org.uk We look forward to welcoming you.
About your mentor
Leading Lives
Lead the life you choose
Leading Lives provides high-quality social care support for people with learning disabilities, autism and complex needs across Suffolk and beyond in the home and in the community. We are an employee-owned, not-for-profit social enterprise. Any surplus we make is re-invested back into services for our customers or in the local community through our Community Benefit Fund. We have over 20 years’ experience and have won numerous national and local awards and all our services which are CQC inspected are rated ‘Good’.
Application process
In order to ensure we are ready to meet each individual's needs, we start the registration process by responding to booking request by telephone or email (you tell us what you prefer). Then we will discuss the needs of your young person, and ensure we are a good fit for their requirements. We will be making our own lunches. Please advise on any dietary requirements. You are always welcome to visit the venue and talk to the team members in charge of the activity before you decide to finalise the booking. Contact us by emailing info@leadinglives.org.uk for details.

Cancellation Policy
Free bookings do not require refunds but as places are limited, please cancel if you cannot attend so that your place can be offered to someone else.

My experience consists of a leisure activity, on a specific date(s), and therefore the 14-day ‘cooling off period’ under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 does not apply.
