Come and join other young carers this half term for an exciting day at Tenpin where you can try to complete an escape room, get competitive with a game of bowling and enjoy lunch with new friends. This is an opportunity for our young carers to relax, build friendships and grow in confidence through teamwork and fun. Here’s a sneak peek so you know what to expect on the day: ⌚11:00 – Arrival & Warm Welcome - Children are greeted by our friendly team and settle in with social time in the arcade ⌚11:30 –We will break into 2 teams and head into the escape room ⌚12.30 – Lunch - Burgers, chips, nuggets, fruit, cordial, water, nature valley bars ⌚13:15 – We will break into 2 teams for bowling ⌚14:15 – Wind down, enjoy the arcade, say our goodbyes ⌚15:00 – Children to gather at main entrance to travel home Our activities for young carers: · Encourage physical activity and teamwork · Offer and safe and inclusive environment · Strengthen peer relationships · Provide a memorable, fun respite experience · Support from our Young Carer Workers We can’t wait to welcome your child for a day of fun, and fantastic memories! If you would like your child to attend but will have difficulty transporting them to the venue, please contact us. While we are inclusive and committed to supporting eligible families with children who have additional needs, we are a non-specialist provider. This means we may need to speak with you to understand your child’s individual needs and ensure our provision is a suitable and safe environment where they can be appropriately supported.
