What we'll do
During this workshop attendees will work with fabrics and yarns to create their own hanging weaved artwork. This process is very mindful and relaxing but can take some time and precision to create interesting shapes and forms to their weaving. We will prepare the weaving bases which participants will work on. Please bring a bottle of water. We will provide a packed lunch and snacks including fruit. SCIP is an arts charity dedicated to breaking down the barriers which stop people from accessing the arts in our community, we do this by providing free workshops, exhibitions and events from our home The Crypt Gallery in Seaford. Our organisation is passionate about contemporary visual arts, and believe art can be a powerful tool to support individuals wellbeing and bring together entire communities.
