A summary
VCL Production’s Summer Youth Project in Northampton is an exciting opportunity for young people aged 9 to 18 to participate in a vibrant production of "We Will Rock You - young@part!” Our team at VCL intend to nurture talent and creativity in a supportive and inspiring environment. Participants will have the chance to immerse themselves in the world of musical theatre, honing their skills in acting, singing, and dancing. The project typically involves rehearsals where young performers collaborate with experienced directors and choreographers to bring the iconic Queen-inspired musical to life. Not only does this project offer a fantastic theatrical experience, but it also helps build confidence, teamwork, and lifelong memories. It's a perfect way for young enthusiasts to spend their summer engaging in the arts and making new friends. This is a 10 day activity with a performance on the eleventh day!

Week 1 - 4th August - 8th August 2025 / 10am - 4pm (Daily) Venue Northampton High School GSDT (Hardingstone) Newport Pagnell Road Northampton NN4 6UU Week 2 - 11th August - 16th August 2025 / 10am - 4pm (Monday - Friday) Venue The Old Savoy - Home of the Deco Theatre Abington Square, Northampton NN1 4AE Saturday 16th August Rehearsals from 10am & 2 Performances 2pm & 6pm (tickets will need to be purchased)

Participants in our Summer Youth Project 2025 will not only gain invaluable experience working alongside talented directors and choreographers.

Commitment
This is an 11 day Summer Project therefore will use 11 of your 16 credits If you have a young performer who is interested in joining our Summer Youth Project we will require them to submit a self tape to take part also.
