Mitten & Moon Education presents: "We Are... Summer Club" We're delighted to be delivering an exciting Summer HAF programme in partnership with Bishop Parker Catholic School. Designed for primary-aged children, our provision offers a fun, safe and inspiring environment where children can build confidence, make new friends and enjoy unforgettable holiday experiences. Led by two qualified and experienced primary school teachers, every day is built around a different interactive theme, encouraging creativity, curiosity and teamwork through hands-on activities. Our themed days include: ✨ We Are Story-Tellers ✨We Are Artists ✨We Are Inventors ✨We Are Gardeners ✨We Are Scientists Children will take part in practical workshops, games, creative projects, outdoor activities and team challenges, all carefully planned to develop communication, problem-solving and social skills while having lots of fun. We believe the best learning happens when children are engaged, active and inspired. As part of the HAF programme, every child will receive a healthy hot meal and a fruit snack each day, helping to promote positive food choices and healthy lifestyles. Physical activity and wellbeing are woven throughout the programme, with opportunities to move, play and explore every day. At Mitten & Moon Education, safeguarding and inclusion are at the heart of everything we do. We are proud holders of the Milton Keynes Youth Provision Safe Practice Mark, and our sessions are led by enhanced DBS-checked teachers with extensive experience supporting children with a wide range of learning and additional needs. Whether your child loves getting creative, exploring the outdoors, investigating science or making new friends, there will be something for everyone. Our aim is simple: to create a holiday club where every child feels valued, supported and excited to come back each day. Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs) Who can attend the Summer HAF programme? Our HAF provision is open to primary-aged children who are eligible for benefits-related Free School Meals (FSM). A limited number of paid places may also be available, subject to availability. Where will the sessions take place? Sessions will be held at Bishop Parker Catholic School, providing children with a safe, familiar and secure environment. When does the programme run? The Summer Club will run weekdays from Monday 10th August to Friday 21st August, from 9:00am to 1:00pm each day. Do children need to attend every day? No. Families can book the days that best suit them, subject to availability. However, we encourage children to attend multiple sessions to enjoy the full range of themed activities. What activities will my child take part in? Each day has a different exciting theme: - ? We Are Story-Tellers - ? We Are Artists - ? We Are Inventors - ? We Are Gardeners - ? We Are Scientists Children will enjoy a mixture of practical learning, crafts, games, outdoor activities, team challenges and creative projects. Is food provided? Yes! Every child attending will receive a healthy hot meal and a fruit snack each day as part of the HAF programme. Please let us know about any allergies or dietary requirements when booking. What should my child bring? Children should wear comfortable clothing suitable for active play and outdoor activities. We recommend bringing a named water bottle and a lightweight waterproof coat, as some activities may take place outside. Who will be running the sessions? The provision is led by two qualified and experienced primary school teachers from Mitten & Moon Education. We are proud holders of the Milton Keynes Youth Provision Safe Practice Mark, and all adults working with children hold the appropriate safeguarding and DBS checks. Can you support children with additional needs? We strive to make our provision as inclusive as possible and have extensive experience supporting children with a range of additional needs. If your child requires any specific support, please contact us before booking so we can discuss how best to meet their needs. How do I book a place? Bookings are made through the EEQU platform. Places are allocated on a first come, first served basis and we encourage families to book early to avoid disappointment. How can I contact you?
