A summary
Attend our leadership course to understand the roles of Refereeing & Coaching We will have an FA qualified referee teaching you how to referee/ officiate a game of football and understand the laws of the game. An FA qualified coach/ tutor will be on hand to support you to how to deliver a session to children. You will be given the opportunity to referee and deliver coaching lessons to the children on the programme. All children will be fully engaged in a safe and fun environment, supervised by coaches with DBS checks and have the children development/ welfare as a priority

Washington Football Club
Providing Football For All
Washington AFC are a Community Club where we provide football to all. We want every child to be technically good, play to the the best of their ability, compete at a level that is suitable to them, to enjoy and to play good attacking football. Firstly, we would like to welcome you to Washington Association Football Club and give you some information about our club. We provide training for boys and girls in age groups ranging from Under 7s to Under 18s. We are looking to increase the participation of boys & girls football at the Club through our Football Development Centres. The Club also provides Football Development Centres for football fun sessions for Under 4s, 5s and 6s where the children can learn and develop their skills in a fun environment. They are encouraged to practice at home and at school and to enjoy the game and learn not only from the coaches but also from their heroes in the Professional game. When teams are introduced to league football at Under 7s level we believe in playing the game as it should be played in an attacking manner based on good technique and a straightforward approach. The Club have people on board who are passionate to take the Club forward in a new direction. The coaches all work hard to ensure that every child continues to develop their skills and undertsanding of the game further. Every coach is fully qualified and crb checked. Football is a simple game which can offer years of enjoyment and fulfilment. Here at Washington A.F.C. we offer a community club for the parents and players to allow you to enjoy the beautiful game.
