A summary
Thrive Holiday Club is a holiday club for 7-11 year olds delivered in Calderdale with a focus on emotional health & wellbeing. Thrive combines energetic games with peaceful relaxation, ensuring something for all personalities. This project is part of the Healthy Activities & Food Project (HAF) and is funded by Calderdale Council.​ Activities will include wellbeing, making & enjoying tasty healthy foods, team games, arts & crafts, & much more. Session will run from 10am - 2pm from Tuesday 7th April - Friday 10th April. Children will be provided with breakfast, lunch and snacks. Activities will be confirmed in the coming days Non eligible places will also be available.

Our mission is to improve children and young people's mental, emotional health and wellbeing by ensuring that all have access to the support they need. We deliver projects and services across West Yorkshire to children and young people aged 5-25. Our vision is that every child and young person in the UK, regardless of background has access to the support they want and need.

Hey! I’m Ruby, currently a student at the University of York doing a BSC in Psychology. I began volunteering with Invictus Wellbeing in 2022 and started working at the camps in 2023, which I’ve really enjoyed. I’m also a competitive cheerleader and love staying active. This summer I’ll be spending three months in the USA working at a children’s camp in New York. In the future, I hope to become a clinical psychologist who specialises in work with adolescents. In my free time I enjoy music and spending time with animals—my profile picture is my pet rabbit, Pumpkin!
