A summary
The Grove Community Hub, in partnership with Heads Up Leicester, are offering a shorter, quieter holiday-scheme session for neurodivergent children aged 6-15 years on Friday 02 January 2026 from 11.00am until 15.00pm. The ratio of staff to children will be 1:4. The HAF Club is FREE to those living and/or going to school in Leicester City* who are receiving ‘Benefits-Related Free School Meals’** or are referred by their school. This HAF Club is aimed at children who would find our main holiday scheme overwhelming and would benefit from a smaller, shorter session on a quieter day at The Grove. Having a formal neurodivergent diagnosis is not a requirement. There will be a range of activities on the day, including Gaming, Sports, Arts and Crafts and more! ALL children who book will also be offered a ‘build your own’ sensory-friendly lunch. Supporting a neurodivergent child can bring additional challenges for parents, so we are also offering a 1-hour parent drop-in session during the first part of the day - where you can have a tea or coffee, a biscuit and have a chat with other parents and the staff at Heads Up Leicester. Please see the 'Application Process' box for more info on how to apply. Bookings will close on Monday 15 December at 17:30PM. Places are limited so book early to avoid disappointment! *Leicestershire County Council do offer HAF placements for children living in the county. More information available at https://www.leicestershire.gov.uk/education-and-children/social-care-and[1]supporting-families/holiday-activities-and-food-haf-programme **Please be aware that this HAF Club is for children eligible for Benefits-Related Free School Meals and NOT the Universal Free School Meals that all children up to Year 3 receive.

My experience consists of a leisure activity, on a specific date(s), and therefore the 14-day ‘cooling off period’ under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 does not apply.
