Join us for a fun-filled Garden Games session at Chadderton Hall Park, where children, young people and families can enjoy a relaxed morning or afternoon of outdoor play, games and creative activities in a welcoming park setting.
Our Garden Games sessions are designed to encourage everyone to get active, have fun and spend quality time outdoors. Whether you're joining friends, meeting new people or simply looking for something enjoyable to do during the holidays, there's plenty to keep everyone entertained. Activities will vary from session to session, offering a mix of traditional garden games, team challenges, creative opportunities and informal play suitable for a range of ages and abilities.
The sessions are delivered in a friendly, inclusive environment where participants are free to explore activities at their own pace. There is no pressure to compete or take part in everything, making the sessions suitable for families with younger children as well as older children and young people who enjoy being active and social. Our staff will be on hand throughout the session to welcome participants, explain activities and encourage everyone to get involved.
Garden Games is a fantastic opportunity to enjoy the fresh air, discover new games, build confidence, develop teamwork and make new friends within your local community. Many of the activities promote communication, problem-solving, coordination and creativity, all while having fun in a safe and supportive environment.
As activities may change depending on the weather, attendance and available equipment, every session offers something a little different, helping to keep the experience fresh and enjoyable throughout the programme. We recommend wearing comfortable clothing suitable for outdoor activities and bringing a drink to stay hydrated, particularly during warmer weather.
This is a free, drop-in style session, and families are welcome to join us for all or part of the session. We look forward to welcoming you to Chadderton Hall Park for an enjoyable day of outdoor fun, games and community spirit.
