What we'll do
We will be joined by the amazing storyteller Robin Simpson who will share the exciting adventure of Jack and the beanstalk. Find out what happens by listening to and taking part in this story involving music, mayhem, a magic chicken and a whole heap of horticulture! We will dim the lights and reveal STORYLANTERNS. Each of these three-sided lanterns will illustrate one exciting part the story and are created using traditional shadow-puppetry techniques. Simply rotate the lamps to progress the adventure! There will also be songs and games with library staff and a chance to sign up for the Story Garden, Summer Reading Challenge and to get those first reward stickers of the summer.
