Welcome to the Stop Motion Film Club! The Stop Motion Film Club is an engaging and educational program designed for children aged 7–15 to explore their creativity through the art of stop motion animation. Whether your child is an aspiring filmmaker or simply loves to create, this club offers a hands-on experience that combines fun and learning. During the program, participants will dive into the fascinating world of stop motion, where imagination comes to life frame by frame. They’ll learn to create short animated films by crafting their own characters, props, and sets while developing essential storytelling and technical skills. Each session is thoughtfully designed to nurture creativity, problem-solving, and collaboration, making it an enriching experience for every child. What Your Child Will Learn The club covers various aspects of stop motion filmmaking, including: - Storytelling and Storyboarding: Planning engaging narratives and visualizing their ideas. - Design and Crafting: Building unique characters and detailed sets using everyday materials. - Animation and Filming:Mastering stop motion techniques with user-friendly software and tools. - Editing and Sound Design: Finalizing their films with creative edits and sound effects. 1. What is the Stop Motion Film Club? The Stop Motion Film Club is a creative program designed for children aged 7–15 to explore the art of stop motion animation. Participants will learn how to create their own short films by developing skills in storytelling, crafting props and sets, and using stop motion animation techniques. 2. What will my child learn? Children will gain hands-on experience in: - Storyboarding and Scriptwriting: Planning the narrative for their films. - Design and Crafting: Creating characters, props, and backdrops. - Animation Techniques: Using stop motion tools and software to bring their creations to life. - Teamwork and Communication: Collaborating with peers to produce their films. 3. What materials or equipment will my child need? We provide most of the materials and equipment, including: - Stop motion animation software. - Tablets or laptops for filming. - Craft supplies for making props and sets. Your child may be asked to bring some simple items like small figurines, toys, or additional craft supplies for personal use. 4. Is previous experience required? No prior experience is necessary! The program is designed to accommodate beginners and those with some animation knowledge. 5. How is the program structured? The club runs weekly sessions, each lasting approximately 1 hour 10 minutes. Each session focuses on a specific aspect of stop motion filmmaking, such as: - Week 1: Introduction to stop motion and storyboarding. - Week 2: Crafting characters and sets. - Week 3: Filming basics and techniques. - Week 4: Editing and finalizing the film. At the end of the program, participants will showcase their finished films in a screening event for families. We’re excited to have your child join us for a fun and creative adventure in stop motion filmmaking!

Terms and Conditions
Terms and Conditions Cancellations: -Classes must be canceled at least 24 hours in advance to qualify for a refund or rescheduling. Failure to cancel within 24 hours will result in the session being charged in full. -Changes to Schedule: Lessons may be subject to change due to teacher availability or other unforeseen circumstances. IDEA will make every effort to inform customers of changes as soon as possible. -Right to Cancel: IDEA reserves the right to cancel lessons under unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to health and safety concerns, teacher availability, or adverse weather conditions. -Refund Policy: Refunds are only issued if a class is canceled by IDEA or if the customer cancels more than 24 hours in advance. -No refunds or credits are provided for missed classes or late cancellations. -Class Usage and Expiry: Membership classes must be used within the same month. Unused classes do not roll over to subsequent months. The unique customer code is non-transferable and must only be used by the registered customer. -Studio Etiquette: All children must be accompanied to and from the studio by a parent or guardian. If a child is allowed to walk home by themselves, parents or guardians must email hammersmith@ideaproject.design to provide written consent before the lesson. Participants are expected to respect studio property, materials, and fellow attendees. Damages caused by negligence may incur additional charges. -Health and Safety: Any allergies, medical conditions, or special requirements must be disclosed during registration. IDEA reserves the right to refuse participation if a participant’s health or behavior poses a risk to themselves or others. -Photography and Media: IDEA may take photographs or videos during classes for marketing purposes. If you do not wish your child to be photographed, please inform us in writing before the class begins. -Art Materials: All necessary materials for classes are provided unless specified otherwise. Artwork created during the classes remains the property of the participant unless it is a collaborative project for studio use. -Age and Skill Levels: Classes are designed for specific age groups and skill levels. Customers are responsible for enrolling in the appropriate class to ensure the best experience. -Payment and Renewals: Membership fees must be paid in full at the start of each month. Failure to pay may result in suspension of membership privileges. -Force Majeure: IDEA is not liable for disruptions, delays, or cancellations caused by events beyond its control, including but not limited to natural disasters, government restrictions, or pandemics. Behavior Policy At IDEA Art, we strive to create a welcoming and supportive environment where all participants feel safe and encouraged to express themselves. To ensure a positive experience for everyone: -Respectful Behavior: Children are expected to respect their peers, instructors, and studio property at all times. -Disruptive Conduct: Disruptive or inappropriate behavior may result in a child being temporarily or permanently removed from a session without a refund. -Parental Communication: For repeated behavioral concerns, parents or guardians will be contacted to discuss appropriate next steps. -Safe Space: Bullying, aggression, or any form of discrimination will not be tolerated under any circumstances.
