A summary
The Cricket After-School Club at St Botolph’s Primary runs from 3:15pm to 4:30pm and is led by Miss Walford. The club offers pupils a fun and engaging introduction to cricket, allowing them to develop key skills in an enjoyable and supportive environment. Throughout each session, pupils take part in a variety of fun, skill-based games designed to build their batting, bowling, and fielding abilities. These activities focus on improving coordination, accuracy, and confidence while keeping all pupils active and involved. As the club progresses, pupils are given opportunities to apply their skills in small-sided matches and game scenarios, helping them understand the rules and structure of cricket. This combination of practice and match play supports their development while promoting teamwork, communication, and positive sporting behaviour.
