What we'll do
Join us for a super fun week exploring Shrek the Musical! Day 1 - Will be spent getting to know the show, taking part in lots of drama exercises and getting to know each other. Day 2 - We will spend the morning deciding on character roles you will then be given tickets to watch the full Shrek the Musical performance on stage at Groundlings, performed by The Young Creatives Drama School. Day 3 - We will confirm the scenes and songs that we will be performing for our own mini performances and rehearse. Day 4 - A full morning of rehearsals before performing our mini Shrek to family and friends at 1.30pm. This event runs for 4 days from 10am to 2pm each day. Monday April 8th to Thursday April 11th. The event is recommended for ages 8 to 15 Please be advised that due to Groundlings Theatre being a Grade 2 listed building there is no wheelchair access and the theatre is upstairs.

Nathalie Gunn
Outreach Co-Ordinator for The Young Creatives
Nathalie trained at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts before completing a BA Honours Degree in Creative & Performing Arts at Portsmouth University. Nathalie has worked with The Young Creatives as Outreach Co-Ordinator for two years, alongside this Nathalie performs with Children’s Theatre Company – Black Hat Theatrical, New Apollo & People and Stories. Nathalie also works a director and producer. Nathalie is the lead singer of a function band called The Spoils and performs solo as an events singer specialising in vintage and musical theatre.
