What we'll do
Heart of BS13 is delivering SEND-friendly Holiday Activities and Food (HAF) provision this Easter at the Roundhouse. Roundhouse Easter Club offers a small-group, family-based session for children aged 8-16 who are eligible for benefit-related free school meals (BRFSM), with enhanced support for children with additional needs. The session includes: • Sensory-friendly cooking workshop • Slime-making sensory activity • Easter and spring crafts • Outdoor games and nature-based play • Calm regulation spaces • A healthy hot meal eaten together • A fresh frozen meal to take home Parents/carers must remain on site throughout the session. Siblings welcome. Priority given to BS13 families. This is a fully funded Bristol City Council HAF provision.

We know that people thrive when education, activity and work opportunities exist, and in a community that has been left behind for too long, we’re breaking down barriers and supporting people to live healthy lives.
Additional information
SEND-friendly family model. Activities include messy/sensory play (slime making). Outdoor games will run in most weather conditions. Please wear appropriate footwear and clothing.
Learning aims
Aim 1
Have increased confidence in preparing simple, healthy food, including measuring, mixing and following basic recipes.
Aim 2
Strengthen fine and gross motor skills through cooking, craft activities, slime-making sensory play and outdoor movement-based games.
Aim 3
Improve communication and social skills through small-group activities, shared mealtimes and cooperative outdoor games.
