What we'll do
Enjoy a carefully chosen family film in a relaxed environment with low lights, gentle audio, where children are free to move, play and be themselves. With freedom to Wiggle & Giggle, dance in the aisle, snuggle with a blanket, or explore the space, this is a judgment-free zone where every family belongs and every child shines. After the film, head to the lounge for a family-friendly lunch. It’s a chance to unwind, connect with other families, making joyful memories together. PLEASE NOTE: 1. ONE adult per child. If more than one child, a 2nd Adult can book. 2. This event is for families of children who have a disability or additional need. 3. Due to the demand for spaces, you will only be able to book ONE trip with Ealing Anchor.

Assisting Families of Disabled Children
Ealing Anchor Foundation works towards a future in which all differently abled children and young people realise their aspirations and their right to an inclusive community which supports them and their families. We provide a safe space where parent carers of children who are differently abled come together for mutual support and friendship during the early stages of diagnosis, in a friendly and nurturing setting. We bring families who are socially and economically vulnerable together to befriend and support one another, helping to improve life for themselves and their family members.

Aim 1
Support children in managing anxiety and sensory sensitivities in a safe, low-pressure environment.
Aim 3
Having access to mainstream leisure activities and promoting inclusion will give a sense of belonging.
Aim 5
Use film content to spark curiosity for storytelling, and creative thinking.
Aim 2
Encourage self-soothing strategies through exposure to calming sensory settings and help children explore and tolerate different sensory inputs (light, sound, visuals) in a controlled way.
Aim 4
Build confidence in navigating public spaces and community events.
