A summary
At NovaMinds, your child is welcomed into a calm, friendly structured space designed especially for children with additional needs, including autism, ADHD, sensory processing differences, and social or communication challenges. Here, children can settle in at their own pace. When they arrive, they’re greeted by name and invited to choose a gentle starter activity; perhaps planting seeds in our mini growing station, a sensory regulation activity such as exploring textured trays, using weighted lap pads, sitting in our quiet cosy corner with soft lighting and cushions, building a marble run with magnetic tiles, or exploring textured sensory trays filled with rice, kinetic sand, or water beads. As the session unfolds, children might take part in a simple hands-on guided activities like science experiment (like making fizzing volcano reactions), guided Lego and magnetic tiles engineering projects, mindful movement games, or creative art sessions using watercolours, planting seeds, and natural materials. There is always a quiet room with soft cushions, sound and visual therapies as well as books for children who need a break. Instructions are broken down clearly, visuals are used where helpful, and staff provide one-to-one reassurance where needed. Our team supports each child individually, especially those with additional or sensory needs, helping them build confidence, friendships, and independence in a way that feels safe and pressure-free, respecting how each unique brain works. By the end of the session, children leave feeling proud, confident, regulated, and happy, often excited to tell you what they created, discovered, or grew.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellations made 48 hours or more before the session will receive a full refund or the option to transfer to a future session (subject to availability). Cancellations made within 48 hours of the session are non-refundable due to limited group spaces. However, we understand that children with additional needs may experience unexpected challenges. Where possible, we will offer a transfer to another date if we are able to fill the space. If NovaMinds needs to cancel a session for any reason, a full refund or transfer will be offered.

My experience consists of a leisure activity, on a specific date(s), and therefore the 14-day ‘cooling off period’ under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 does not apply.
